Just a Spoonful of Sugar

I finally handed in my last stupid university paper. Nearly two years late, but never mind. Freedom! Oh well... Sort of, at least.

Anyway, that meant that I was finally allowed to open the Ladurée cookbook that has been staring reproachingly at me from within its gift-wrapped splendor on my dining table for the last few weeks. I'm not quite convinced that I will ever need the recipe for "about 50" macarons au citron, but the book is just so pretty. Shiny, even.

And now there is no longer any excuse for not learning how to make pistachio financières.
